The Center for Inflammation, Immunity and Infection is committed to providing exceptional educational and training opportunities for scholars at all levels. Faculty of the Center are actively involved in instructional and teaching activities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Center Faculty also serve as research mentors for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, and provide opportunities for advanced undergraduates to conduct supervised research. The Center works closely with the Graduate Program in Biological Science to recruit outstanding graduate students in inflammation, immunity and infection, and to provide a curriculum that prepares the students for successful dissertation research. Students and postdocs are also encouraged to attend monthly Center Distinguished Seminar Series, monthly Research Progress Seminar and Journal Club.
